Bio-Origins successfully completed Canadian Agriculture Partnership funded Pilot Scale up project

Bio-Origins Inc. successfully completed a Pilot Scale up project to develop a pilot manufacturing plant in Cambridge Ontario. This project was funded by the Canadian Agriculture Partnership, a five-year federal-provincial-territorial initiative. The biomass pulping and molding processes were developed, and demonstration packaging products were manufactured from locally grown miscanthus and switchgrass.

The project will directly contribute to the reduction of plastic waste; it will assist the agricultural sector with the diversification of uses of biomass. Bio-Origins plans to develop a commercial manufacturing plant for biomass pulp molded packaging products.
